You live in a country swimming in sunshine with some windy days.

Electricity is becoming too expensive and you wish cut down partly or completely its cost or you simply wish to do your bit to help the environment.

Using solar electricity would ensure stable current, a true 230 V ~50Hz coming out of the outlet, never again would you have to replace any electrical appliance due to power surge, never again would you have power cuts and if you use only solar electricity, never again would you have to pay an ever increasing electricity bill.

You can install the system yourself (or ask us to do it for you) and the maintenance work is mainly make sure the bolts are still tightly set and check the water level in the batteries.

Besides sunshine and wind, you only need some equipment: Photovoltaic panels, batteries, inverters, wind generators and charge controller.

The solar panels (photovoltaic panels) are used to transform light coming from the sun into electricity. They have to be installed facing south (for maximum sunshine) on an aluminum frame and preferably without anything in front of them (trees, buildings,...).

The charge controller is a go between the photovoltaic panels and the batteries, they ensure the batteries are not overloaded or over discharged and they control how the batteries have to be charged; giving longer life to the batteries and using optimally the solar energy.

• BATTERIES
